TERMS & CONDITIONS – ETHIO NOMAD TOURS


1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern all bookings, tours, and services provided by Ethio Nomad Tours. By booking a tour with us, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.


2. Booking & Confirmation

  • All bookings must be made through our website, email, phone, or authorized representatives.
  • A booking is considered confirmed once a deposit is paid and written confirmation is sent by Ethio Nomad Tours.
  • The remaining balance must be paid before the tour start date, as specified in your booking confirmation.

3. Payments

  • Prices are quoted in USD or ETB unless otherwise stated.
  • Accepted payment methods will be communicated during booking (bank transfer, cash, or other approved methods).
  • Any bank or transfer fees are the responsibility of the client.

4. Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • Cancellations must be made in writing via email.
  • Cancellation charges depend on how close to the departure date the cancellation is made.
  • Deposits are generally non-refundable unless otherwise agreed.
  • No refunds will be given for unused services once the tour has started.

5. Changes to Itinerary

  • Ethio Nomad Tours reserves the right to modify itineraries due to weather conditions, safety concerns, road conditions, or unforeseen circumstances.
  • Any changes will be made with the client’s safety and best interests in mind.

6. Travel Insurance

  • Travel insurance is not included in the tour price.
  • Clients are strongly advised to obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering medical expenses, trip cancellation, and personal belongings.

7. Health & Fitness Requirements

  • Some tours involve trekking, hiking, or travel in remote areas.
  • Clients are responsible for ensuring they are physically fit and healthy to participate.
  • Any medical conditions must be disclosed at the time of booking.

8. Visas & Travel Documents

  • Clients are responsible for obtaining valid passports, visas, and any required travel documents.
  • Ethio Nomad Tours is not responsible for denied entry or delays caused by incomplete documentation.

9. Responsibility & Liability

  • Ethio Nomad Tours acts as a tour operator and is not responsible for injury, loss, damage, delays, or expenses caused by events beyond our control.
  • Participation in tours is at the client’s own risk.
  • We are not liable for loss or damage to personal belongings.

10. Force Majeure

  • Ethio Nomad Tours shall not be liable for failure to perform services due to events beyond our control, including natural disasters, political instability, strikes, or pandemics.

11. Photography & Media Use

  • Photos or videos taken during tours may be used for promotional purposes unless the client requests otherwise in writing.

12. Code of Conduct

  • Clients are expected to respect local customs, culture, religion, and laws.
  • Any behavior that endangers others or disrupts the tour may result in removal from the tour without refund.

13. Complaints & Feedback

  • Any complaints should be communicated to the tour guide or company representative as soon as possible.
  • We welcome feedback to help us improve our services.

14. Governing Law

  • These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia.
